Meduxnekeag Purple Trail/ Van Dine Falls
The Meduxnekeag Purple walking trail is on of several on the Meduxnekeag Valley Nature Preserve. This trail has much to offer such as Bird watching, Water Falls, several animals can be spotted inside the nature preserve.
The purple trail features many plank bridges, rock walls, wooden steps and ropes for help on steep hills.
The trail offers several smaller waterfalls one that appears like a large bowl caution should be taken as this is very slippery speaking from experience as my daughter slip in trying to wash her rubber boots.
THE BOWL
Van Dine Falls
Several mushrooms and little critters could also be spotted.

Ayers Lake Look Out
The trail leading to the look out is somewhat rocky but still pretty easy walking, however i would not recommend taken a smaller car the last KM or so a truck or SUV I would highly recommend. On top of the hill is a cedar fence keeping people from getting too close to the edge of the drop-off. There is also a cement picnic table at the lookout so people can sit and enjoy the view,on the picnic table you can usually find a guest book in a container make sure you add your name to the list of visitors.

While sitting at the river bank in Woodstock NB we notice this young osprey flying over head and occasional land in the tree next to us.
Just as I was ready to leave I notice which I believe is a Stork flying right over my head unfortunately
the way I was sitting and on how fast it took place I only manage to capture this bird as a silhouette
As I was leaving I also notice this little guy not sure what kind of bird he is but didnèt want to leave him out....lol
