Meduxnekeag Purple Trail/ Van Dine Falls

The Meduxnekeag Purple walking trail is on of several on the Meduxnekeag Valley Nature Preserve.  This trail has much to offer such as Bird watching, Water Falls, several animals can be spotted inside the nature preserve.

The purple trail features many plank bridges, rock walls, wooden steps and ropes for help on steep hills.

The trail offers several smaller waterfalls one that appears like a large bowl caution should be taken as this is very slippery speaking from experience as my daughter slip in trying to wash her rubber boots.

Van Dine Falls

Several mushrooms and little critters could also be spotted.

Little Pokiok Falls

Located on route 105 just a few km outside of Hartland NB. where the Sentier NB trail crosses the highway to the river side.  There is a large parking area and the falls are just a short walking distance and can easily be seen from the trail.

These small but powerful waterfalls have formed a gorge out of solid bedrock
