Mudding

Just a little stuck in the mud! I Thought I had to hook on with the Jeep and help these guys out.  However they had this mud under control!

Traffic Nightmare

Welcome to Fredericton NB.  Where all entry and exits to the city are worked on at the same time.  What a cluster 💩!
The Hanwell is an absolute nightmare on our way home. So we thought we would be smart by taking the longer way home and take the old Woodstock road and head out through Deersdale.  Little did we know that they are also working on the old Woodstock Road as.  (just our luck) The construction is right across the Hart Island water Park.  This construction was a breeze to go through with no long lines.

Wow Look at that culvert~~

Fredericton Junction Run

We started our trip from across the Blue Canoe Restaurant in Waasis, NB.  It was a short run to Fredericton Junction but very picturesque. The trail is somewhat narrow in spots and there wasn't  much room to pull over of to the side.
The trail to Fredericton Junction was very enjoyable and brought you out right at the gas station.

Sand brook Falls 2

Sand Brook Falls in New Brunswick, Canada, offers a captivating journey through scenic wilderness. Located near Sussex, this trail invites outdoor enthusiasts to explore lush forests, rugged terrain, and a picturesque waterfall. The trail is approximately 0.3 miles long and is generally considered an easy route, taking an average of 6 minutes to complete. It’s a great choice for hiking, and you’re unlikely to encounter many other people while exploring this serene area.

Additionally, there are Upper and Lower Sand Brook Falls, which are also easy to access. The trail is a bit longer, but the Oromocto Watershed Group has installed signs to identify several waterfalls and hiking trails, making these unique areas accessible to hikers and photographers.

If you’re in the mood for more outdoor adventures, New Brunswick has several other beautiful trails to explore, such as the Mount Douglas Bald Trail, Turtle Mountain, and Welsford Brook Waterfall Trail. Happy hiking! 🌿

Maggie's Falls Adventure

A day on our bikes, day trip from our camp in Juniper, NB to Maggie's Falls located in Arthurette, NB.  The bike run took longer then expected as we had gotten lost several times.  HOWEVER we weren’t in no hurry and enjoyed every minute of it!  One bike broke down a short ways into our trip, however we had enough bikes that we still could all go!!!!! no man/girl left behind!!!

On the way home, after enjoying the beautiful landscape, the sky opened up!! I haven't seen rain like that in many years!  It was like someone unzipped all the rain clouds at once. OF COURSE it had to start to lightning and thunder, as well just the extra frosting on the cupcake!  When we finally returned to our camp in Juniper, we looked like drowned rats, we were cold, and looked like we rolled in the mudd like pigs on a farm.   Overall an awesome day, would change it for anything.

Maggie’s Falls have are located on a 2.6-km loop trail near Arthurette, New Brunswick. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 45 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking and walking

There is a pass next to the mail box for atvs to pass through!  Lots of parking down by the falls for the bikes. You can also find garbage bins there.  Please keep in mind slow slow sow, as families are walking with little kids.

Great place for a picnic!!!

This is a spectacular gem. NB has to offer! A MUST see with beautifully, well maintained trails. Good for all skill and age levels. .The falls are lactated on private property and the landowners graciously let us pass and see this marvellous place. Please take all your trash out that you bring it.  There are also garbage cans located by the falls, no need to littler.

Fall Brook Falls

At Boistown, take Route 625 (Parker Ridge) off of Route 8 for about 4 km then turn right onto the Bloomfield Road, continuing on crossing over the Southwest Miramichi River towards Holtville. There is a very sharp right hand turn at the junction of this road and the County Line Road. Go straight on the County Line Road until you come to the Irving Forestry gate. Once there you have to pay $10 at the gate and the gatekeeper will let you through and give further directions to the falls. Drive approximately 17 km on a woods road which is very well maintained. You will cross over the Salmon Brook bridge but continue on to the second bridge.

Fall brook Falls are the second largest falls next to Walton Glen Falls.  There are several parking sports along the downward road leading into the falls, however if you a fortunate enough and able to drive to the very bottom the walk into the falls are very easy.

Kelly Creek Falls

Kelly Creek Falls is not large waterfall and is certainly not in the most spectacular waterfall in area in the summer.  However look out in the spring, small but mighty with all its force. The falls are nestled just before a large gravel pit. There is a small bridge crossing over the creek at the falls.
The waterfall is just under the bridge and is not real visible from the road.

Sears Road is a short way out the Mazerolle Settlement Road on the the left travelling from the Hanwell and the falls are about 5 km from the intersection.  Its a rough dirt road.
