Clarendon Brook Falls is located in Queens county NB and is
part of the Clarendon Brook,Back Stream, and South Oromocto River system. The
Carendon Brook Falls are easy located along the side of highway 101 in Wirral
NB, a small rural community nestled between Hoyt and Welsford NB. There appears to be a well-traveled path on
the left hand side to the bottom of the falls, however at time of this visit it
appeared pretty ice and slippery, as I didn't feel like cracking my head open
at the bottom of the falls on one of the large boulders so I decided not to wonder
down the trail. (no broken bones or cracked open heads...lol)

This is private property.
ReplyDeleteI am the owner of the "private" property on both sides overlooking the falls. I also own the land close to the trees where people are parking and leaving garbage. The "well traveled" path is marked "Private Property" (which IS dangerous) and our driveway is also well marked as "private. Perhaps Mr. Hanson, you would like to clean up our "private" property as you are the one who started this invasion of our "privacy" when we told you "no". People seem to think the signs mean nothing and their finding the falls on an "app" over-rides our privately owned land.
DeleteI get that the path is private property but I would like to know the laws on this. You cannot own the stream can you?
DeleteMy parents don't own the water but they own all of the rocks and the land on either side.
